I have a 1999 Nissan with a microchip transponder key (Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System) and I have only one key and I lost the keyless entry remote.. I need to get a replacement key and remote, but I want to make sure I'll be able to program the remote and key without any special tools. There are TSBs on both these procedures, but I can't access them. Any help would be great.

I've always thought they required special tools so that only the dealer can program them. I guess it's possible, but I haven't heard about there being any tools to do that which are available to the public.
