My brother has a 1997 Special Edition Mazda Miata. The wheel rims corroded and, now, the tires constantly leak air, causing the car to sit on flattened tires each week.

I found a good set of used Miata wheels to replace the wheels. The problem is that the wheels are 15" wheels and the other set are 14" wheels. Can I use them or will it give problems driving the car? What if I get taller tires?

If the miata came with 14" wheels that year, they will probably fit. But if the SE Miata has larger brakes, they might not.

Why can't the original wheels be cleaned sufficiently for the tires to seal? This is not uncommon for alloy wheels, and unless they are badly pitted, they can be cleaned.

If you still need wheels, try ackerWheel.com. They have new, take-off wheels for most cars. My experience with used wheels is that most of them are bent.
