While removing the old alarm from the car, I've noticed that there aretwo modules mounted on the panel below the steering column, above the
pedals (Right hand side of car).

One is the gong for the check control, the other has an air pipe running to it in addition to an electrical connector. I guess it's connected
with the heating system, but what does it do and how?
