I have a 1989 Ford Probe with A/C. Last week the Heating and A/C stop working. I am geting no power in the system. I have troubleshooted all areas that I can think of, yes I have checked the fuses. I have done voltage checks and I have no power in the system. No power to the blower/A/C switch as well.

Hey Jeff,

From what you posted it sounds like you know how to use a multi-volt test meter. You said the fuse checks OK which I take it you have voltage(Power) up to and thru the fuse. I belive from there it goes thru the ignition switch but you need to get a schematic to verify that. From there it goes to the heater control.
You need to start back tracing the wires from the heater control, checking voltage as you work your way back. They should be color coded and you may have to unwrap the bundle to get to them.
I do know Ford had some problems with ignition switches and the heater controls are turned off and on with this main switch. (They are not hot all the time like headlights or brakelights)
Good Luck
