The left axle ujoint in my Jeep is shot and I was wondering if I have to remove the whole axle assembly to replace it, and also what is the exact procedure for removing the old one.

hi i am a jeep mich. no need to remove it at all if u need help in jeep i am there....
this is wright way to do it....
1. take wheel off
2 brake caleper out ,2 bolts
3 disce brake out
4 loss axle nut
5 axle bearing 3 boltes
6 easy pull out the axel ..
7 6 to 1 to install.....
