A-727 Loadflite on '72 Dodge Van, leaking 1 pint/week from the "Kick Down Band Adjust Screw". Can I just pull this Screw OUT, Teflon-Tape-It, reinsert & readjust, or would removing that screw cause some detriment to the inside of the transmission?

if you don't know what you are doing, then you should'nt try it. I really have no idea as to how we can fix this problem of yours. You should talk to your mechanic about this problem, it will be better I guess.
