Has anyone else had trouble with the plastic frame around the midgate glass on the Avalanche or Escalade EXT craking? I recently tinted the back glass of a 2002 Escalade EXT for a customer and he is trying to make me pay for a new glass, even though the frame was cracked when he got here, and even though I have found evidence online that this is not a rare condition. If you had the problem, what did you do? Did the dealership help at all? I'm running into a wall wherever I turn.
