My sister-in-law recently purchased an 04 colorado, while driving her brakes just lock-up, the last time it happened, she had to litterally pull the brake pedal up to release her brakes. Chevy says there's a service messages but no fix yet, anyy ideas?????

I don't know for sure, but it definitely sounds like a recall waiting to happen.
